How it looks Cleaning technician out in practice

Visual templates showing the profession's typical work activities — so you can see what you are getting into.

The craft in action

The floor is polished with a machine

The cleaning mechanic pushes a rotating floor polishing machine over the tile floor: the red pad holder drives the brushes around and the area behind the machine is shiny and bright.

Colors that lie next to each other in the color wheel — harmonious and quiet

Red for toilet, yellow for kitchen, blue for general surfaces and green for glass and mirrors — the color code ensures that cloths from different zones are never mixed and contaminated.

The microfibre cloth in three moisture states

Dry cloth binds dust statically, the damp cloth is the daily standard and the wet cloth is brought out for heavy tasks — moisture content is chosen according to the task.

Come home in the same state
