Water absorption based on dry weight
The damp method is the standard for daily surface cleaning: the cloth must not drip, but it must not have dry patches either. Rule of thumb (NorthClean): water uptake approx. 2–2.5 × the cloth's dry weight (up to ~3× for difficult stains). Enter the dry weight and number of cloths → water window + total wet weight. Marked as an estimate.
