Unlock Chlorine according to NIR — strength and contact time

pH and disinfection level → ppm, minutes and ml stock

Choose whether the working solution is acidic (pH < 6-7, e.g. chlorine tablets with dichloroisocyanurate) or alkaline (pH > 8-9, ordinary hypochlorite), and whether you need low/intermediate-level or high-level disinfection (spores: C. difficile, norovirus, adenovirus). The calculator looks up strength and contact time in NIR Disinfection 2.2, table 7, and calculates the ml of stock solution: ml stock = litres · 1000 · target ppm ÷ stock ppm (1 % = 10 000 ppm). Always follow the product's instructions for use.
