Convert 1:X to use concentration in %
Convert between a dilution ratio (e.g. 1:50) and a working concentration in percent (e.g. 2 %): % = 100 ÷ X (total volume) or 100 ÷ (X+1) (additive). Useful because disinfection is often given in % (alcohol, chlorine, quats) while cleaning is most often given as a ratio.
