Machines
Lorry-mounted crane (HMF/Palfinger type)The core equipment of the crane operator trade: loads and unloads goods, positions building materials and machinery, and carries out lifts from the vehicle on building sites and delivery points.
Tower craneUsed to lift and place building materials (elements, formwork, reinforcement) high up on multi-storey buildings throughout the construction period — typically requires climbing the mast and working at height.
Measuring tool
Load indicator / load cells (dynamometer)Used to check the load's weight before and during lifting, so you stay within the capacity of the crane and gear — central to safe load and moment assessment.
Tape measure / folding ruleFor measuring load dimensions, clearances, reach and distances on site, so the lift can be planned and the crane positioned correctly.
