How much lime, cement and sand for my mix?
KC x/y/z gives the mix ratio by weight (dry mass): x kg lime, y kg cement and z kg sand, where lime + cement = 100. Choose a prescribed mortar (KC 60/40/850 ≈ 0.4 MPa, 50/50/700 ≈ 0.9 MPa, 35/65/650 ≈ 2.0 MPa, 20/80/550 ≈ 4.5 MPa according to Mur & Tag) or enter your own ratio — the calculator splits the total dry mass in kg. If the project requires an M class, the strength must be documented.
