From 1 August 2026 the electrician programme has a new executive order (BEK no. 460/2026), and competence goals, certificates and basic subjects are now set out in the training regulations. The two specialisations, the journeyman's exam in two parts and the requirement of 02 before the main programme already existed. Here is an overview of the programme and the requirements.
Introduction
From 1 August 2026, BEK no. 460 of 11 May 2026 on the vocational education for electricians applies. It replaced both BEK no. 182/2025 and BEK no. 143/2026, which never came into force. What is new is that competence goals, certificates and basic subjects have moved from the executive order to the training regulations. Students who started before 1 August 2026 follow BEK no. 182/2025. (Source: retsinformation.dk/eli/lta/2026/460)
